Double-hung replacement, brick row house
A tired painted wood sash with a separate storm unit was replaced with a matched double-hung pair, keeping the original opening size and interior trim line.
Drag the handle on any project to see the same opening before and after the replacement. Each note describes the scope of the work and what changed.

The existing bay had failed seals and soft trim. The unit was rebuilt with new sashes, a fresh head and seat board, and new sealant around the surround.

A scratched dark aluminum slider was swapped for a wider-view sliding unit, with the sill and returns made good after the install.

Mismatched windows accumulated over the years were replaced in one run, so sightlines, grille pattern and frame colour read the same across the facade.
